The Retail Trade Liberalization Act of 2000, officially known as Republic Act No. 8762, is a Philippine law that aimed to liberalize and open up the retail trade sector to foreign investors and promote competition in the industry. This law was enacted on November 13, 2000, during the presidency of Joseph Estrada.
