under the Youth Economic Sessions (YES) Project
The Foundation for Economic Freedom (FEF) is a public advocacy organization that seeks to advance the causes of secure property rights, competitive markets, good governance, economic and political liberty, and consumer welfare.
In line with its advocacies, FEF will conduct a series of six (6) nationwide youth-led sessions through its Youth Economic Sessions (YES). These sessions aim to gauge the knowledge of the youth regarding pertinent economic issues of today. For the duration of the project, the topic to be tackled is the proposed amendments to the economic provisions of the 1997 Constitution or also known at the Economic Charter Change (Econ Cha-Cha). Beyond understanding the perspectives of the youth sector regarding these topics, FEF hopes to empower a knowledgeable youth voter base who are able to navigate these topics moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the project, ensuring seamless coordination within
the team and among relevant stakeholders. - Lead logistical and administrative efforts, including planning and organizing
sessions, managing travel arrangements such as flight bookings and hotel
reservations, and facilitating both internal and stakeholder meetings. - Support the development and preparation of various communication materials,
including letters, reports, briefings, PowerPoint presentations, and press releases. - Contribute to the creation of content materials required for the sessions; and
- Undertake any additional duties and tasks as requested by FEF.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in a relevant field, Masteral
degree is a plus but not necessary; - At least 2 years of work experience in a related field;
- Must be willing to work part-time (can work remotely but should be available for
face-to face meetings, when safe and necessary); - Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Power Point), web literate (including familiarity
with online project collaboration tools and social media platforms); and - Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, must be diligent and
can work with minimal supervision, good creative skills will be an advantage.
